Inspired by many summers spent in Argyll with my Fathers side of the Family. This imposing building was the source of much discussion and amazement. I was always so very proud that my Uncle Michael was the Game Keeper in and around this beautiful estate. An element of my childhood imagination and fascination with this building has a place in this work. Visualising all that may have taken place within these fading walls. Humbled by its vast presence and continued abandonment to nature. I hope to have captured that atmosphere Poltalloch posses.
